The Doctoral Consortium of WI 2025 is aimed at doctoral students in business informatics or related disciplines who are in the second or third year of their doctorate. The event takes place in the agora: am Aasee.

Timeline
- Submission of the short version (exposé): June 11, 2025
- Invitation of the doctoral candidates: July 22, 2025
- Submission of the long version: August 29, 2025
Application process
The basis for selection is a three-page exposé (short version) of the dissertation project. The submitted exposés are evaluated by the participating professors with regard to the significance and justification of the research question, the scientific quality of the work, the potential contribution of the applicant to the colloquium and the potential benefit of the colloquium for the applicant. The submitters of the 20 best exposés will be invited to the Doctoral Consortium and will then be asked to submit a long version.

Why a submission to the Doctoral Consortium is worthwhile
The WI 2025 Doctoral Consortium gives participating doctoral students the opportunity to present their dissertation project in detail in a workshop format and to develop it further through coaching and high-quality feedback from experienced professors. Furthermore, the exchange with other doctoral candidates is promoted.
