Call for Workshops & Tutorials

As part of the 20th International Conference Wirtschaftsinformatik (https://wi2025.de/) at the University of Münster, there is an opportunity to conduct workshops, tutorials, or community meetings.

We are currently evaluating integrating these events more into the main program of the conference. This means that your workshop, tutorial, or community meeting could flexibly take place between September 14, 2025 (previously the day before the main conference program) and September 17, 2025 (previously the community day of the conference). This arrangement would enable us to offer a continuously appealing program to company representatives and students, thus opening up the possibility for them to participate in multiple events. We would like to gather your feedback regarding your event for this purpose.

Please send your proposals by November 14, 2024, with the following information to Lea Püchel (lea.puechel@ercis.uni-muenster.de) and Benedikt Berger (benedikt.berger@ercis.uni-muenster.de):

  • Type of event (workshop, tutorial, or community meeting)
  • Working title of the event
  • Brief description of the event for the website (about 300-600 words)
  • Intended audience (multiple entries possible):
    • Academia (early career, senior)
    • Company representatives
    • Students
  • Responsible organizers with names, affiliations, and photos that we can use on the website
  • Organization conducting the event, if applicable (e.g., GI special interest group or WKWI)
  • Preferred date of the event, including feedback on the new scheduling of events (pre-conference day + community day or continuous scheduling)
  • Information on whether you have mapped workshop contributions or participation through the conference submission system, or if you prefer to manage this independently
  • Indication of whether you aim to publish workshop contributions in the WI2025 Workshop Proceedings (workshop contributions will not be published as part of the regular Conference Proceedings)
