Presentation Guidelines

Guidelines for Presenters

  • Completed Research Papers (except Student Track Papers) are allocated a 20-minute slot. Please plan for no more than 15 minutes of presentation to allow 5 minutes for discussion.

  • Research-in-Progress Papers and Student Track Papers are allocated a 15-minute slot. The presentation should last no more than 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of discussion.

Please arrive in the room before the start of your session and check in with the Session Chair. Session Chairs are also requested to be present in advance. A member of the conference team will assist with the technical setup.

Technical Information:

  • Presentations should be prepared in 16:9 format.

  • The presentation language should match the submission language (in most cases English).

  • Supported file formats: PowerPoint (ppt, pptx) and PDF.

  • Please bring your presentation on a USB stick.

  • You may use your own device if necessary, provided it has an HDMI connection. Adapters (e.g., Mini-HDMI) will not be provided.

  • If your presentation contains video or audio, please arrive early in your session to run a test if possible. Note that flawless playback of video and sound cannot be guaranteed in all rooms.
